What To Do This Weekend In Tulsa

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas season has finally arrived! I don't know about you, but I can start listening to Christmas music as early as mid-summer. It's a struggle waiting until after Turkey Day to go fully festive. What do you think? Do you decorate before or after Thanksgiving? Either way, Tulsa is prepared with a slew of holiday-themed activities.

Free Night Light at The Philbrook Museum

Looking at Christmas lights is one of the most enjoyable activities of the entire month. That's why you have to head out to The Philbrook Museum this Friday. From 6:00 P.M. Until 9:00 P.M., they are offering free admission for guests to experience their art and specially-decorated gardens. You won't find a view like this anywhere else in Tulsa, so make sure you bring a friend and take plenty of Instagram-worthy pictures.

First Friday Art Crawl in The Tulsa Arts District

It's the first Friday of the month, and Tulsa knows what that means. The Arts District is hosting the First Friday Art Crawl. Make sure you bring the kids this time and stop by Guthrie Green. From 7:00 P.M. Until 10:00 P.M., children can take a ride on the Christmas Train for free! Experience all the local art you know and love, enhanced this month with a bit of Christmas cheer.

Merry Grinchmas at The Riverwalk in Jenks

The Riverwalk in Jenks is known for their awesome events. This Saturday they are hosting “Merry Grinchmas” from 3:00 P.M. Until 7:00 P.M. This free activity includes face painting, snowball putting at Flying Tee, carriage rides, and even more! As always, you can grab dinner or a coffee at one of the residing restaurants. Make a full evening out of it with the entire family!

Ruts 'N Guts in Broken Arrow

Christmas-themed events are great, but you still have to make time for other activities! On Sunday, head over to Broken Arrow for “Ruts N Guts”. Going from 8:00 A.M. Until 4:00 P.M., you can experience a multitude of exciting activities. The main event, of course, are the cyclocross races. These off-road bike races are a thrill for participants and viewers alike. You definitely won't want to miss this one.
