September is such a fantastic month! The leaves are starting to change, football season has begun, and Tulsa is hosting a wide variety of awesome events. So, grab your pumpkin spiced latte and a group of friends for this week's lineup of entertainment. 

Tulsa's Walk to End Alzheimer's at The University of Tulsa

I love getting outside in the Fall months, and I also love working towards a good cause! This Saturday, you can do just that in the Tulsa Walk to End Alzheimer's. Be at the University of Tulsa for a kick-off party starting at 7:30 A.M., and prepare for the walk at 9:00 A.M. All funds raised go directly to the Alzheimer's Association, a nonprofit organization. Remember that all participants must register beforehand, so click here to claim your spot. 

Festival Americas at Guthrie Green

Who doesn't love a good festival? September 22nd and 23rd is the Festival Americas Concert 2017 at Guthrie Green. This Latin-inspired event will transport your to another culture through live, authentic music, dance performances, food trucks, and even a tequila garden. La Santa Cecilia, a Grammy award-winning Mexican-American band will be performing, as well as a number of other excellent artists. Come for one day, or come for both! You're going to love this event. 

5 Year Anniversary Party at Foolish Things Coffee Co.

Can you believe Foolish Things has been serving Tulsa for five years? It's true! And they're throwing themselves a birthday party to celebrate. On September 23rd, starting at 6:30 P.M., head over to this local-favorite coffee shop for special tastings from their coffee bar, including new items specifically for their fall menu. 

Woofstock 2017 at RiverWalk Crossing

Whether you're already a fur-parent or are considering an adoption, you have to check out Woofstock 2017. On September 23rd, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., you can take part in Oklahoma's largest pet adoption event. Located at the RiverWalk Crossing in Jenks, the goal is to find as many forever homes for these animals as possible. A number of rescue organizations will be participating with decorated booths to match the groovy theme of this year's Woofstock. For more info, check out their website

Brady Arts District Yard Sale at Living Arts

Weekends are for yard sales and, this week, Tulsa is hooking you up. On Sunday, from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., check out the Brady Arts District Yard Sale, featuring local artwork, industrial material, books, and other unique and stylish pieces. Many businesses are participating, including Living Arts of Tulsa, Philbrook Downtown, Tulsa Artist Fellows, Magic City Books, and more!
