American Idol Auditions at Guthrie Green

Do you love to sing? Do you want to be the next Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson? This is your chance! American Idol auditions are coming to Tulsa this Friday. Head out to Guthrie Green in the early evening for your chance to perform. Auditions begin at 7:00 P.M., but show up early to ensure a good place in line. 

First Friday Art Crawl in Brady Arts District

If you're going to be downtown on Friday for the auditions, you'll definitely want to check out the First Friday Art Crawl as well. Starting at 6:00 P.M., located in the Brady Arts District, this month will feature Symphony in the Park, a Drillers game at ONEOK Filed, and 7 Blue Jazz Trio at Hey Mambo. Come support local artists, try some new foods, and experience one of Tulsa's favorite continuous events.

Custom Car Show at Fuel 66

On Saturday, head out to Fuel 66 to check out the Fuel 66 Classic Car Show. Starting at 11:00 A.M. and going until 5:00 P.M., you'll be able to enjoy a host of beautiful vehicles, exceptional food, and drink specials happening all day long. This is a free event for all. PostOak Wine & Jazz Festival at PostOak Lodge

Lovers of jazz and wine will want to be at Post Oak Lodge this Saturday, from 4:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. The PostOak Wine and Jazz Festival will feature food trucks and local artists all throughout the day. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to have a comfortable place to sit as you listen to the talented Darell Christopher Band. Admission is only $15 for adults. Kids 17 years and younger are free to attend. 

Tulsa's Great Raft Race on the Arkansas River

If you're still looking for something to do this Labor Day, check out Tulsa's Great Raft Race! This annual event is presented by the Public Service Company of Oklahoma, and features an exciting ride down the Arkansas River on September 4th. All those wishing to participate must register at to claim their spot. Grab your friends and get ready for a Labor Day adventure you won't forget.
