Tulsa, Oklahoma is really heating up this week with a wide range of events and activities. Fans of popular television shows and fans of good food will have plenty to do. Of course, everything is more fun in numbers. Grab your friends or your family so no one misses out on all that this city has to offer!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma and First Oklahoma Bank are coming together for a very exciting event this Thursday, at Burn Co. BBQ. From 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM, order some of the best barbecue in town, sample some fine whiskeys, or enjoy a cigar at Cigar-B-Que. This event is all about how you can be a Big to a friend or co-worker. Mack and Robert, employees of First Oklahoma Bank, will share their story about mentorship and how it can impact a life. Bigs in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma will also contribute. All money made from the event helps recruit, enroll, train, and support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. 

Walking Dead fans of all ages will swarm to Tulsa August 5th and 6th for Walker Stalker Con, a Walking Dead convention. Doors open both days at 9:00 AM. The even ends at 5:00PM on Sunday. Walker Stalker Con is created by fans and focuses on authentic interactions with actors, as well as a variety of free family-friendly activities. Meet and greet some of your favorite actors, take a selfie, and glean from the Q & A portion. If you love The Walking Dead, you cannot miss this.

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Of course, you are! So, head to Inner Circle this Sunday, August 6th for I Drink and I Know Things: a Game of Thrones night. Come dressed in your best GoT costume, test your knowledge with trivia, watch a few of your favorite episodes, and enjoy themed drinks all throughout the night. 

If there's one event you have to hit this week, it's Bikes, Bacon & Beer. Happening this Sunday, August 6th at Phat Tire Bike Shop in downtown Tulsa, you can enjoy deliciously flavored bacon and beers before heading out on a 13, 22, 33, and 50 mile bike ride. The perfect mix of culinary enjoyment and exercise, this is a must-do for all.

If gospel music makes your soul sing, you have to check out the 49th Annual Brumley Gospel Sing festival happening Tuesday through Saturday at the Mabee Center. The Brumley Music Company is an incredibly influential and powerful gospel, Americana, and country music group guaranteed to have you singing praises every night of the event.
